  • Recovery after Accufit
When your treatment ends, you're good to get back to your day. Since it's non-invasive, there's no downtime. You might feel some some muscle fatigue in treated areas for a few hours and some muscle tenderness for a day or so, as is the case after an intense workout. For the best results, Dr. Martin's office suggests going for 6 sessions, with a 2-3 day gap between each. Additional sessions can be added as desired, think of the treatment as a supplement to your regular workout routine!
  • What is Accufit?
Lutronic Accufit is expertly engineered to deliver direct muscle activation treatments for enhanced aesthetics. This advanced, third-generation muscle stimulation platform is the only device in the market that painlessly emits powerful electrical pulses to stimulate thousands of real muscle contractions in a single, short office visit. Accufit is able to treat abdominals and obliques, glutes, quads, or biceps and triceps through a computer-controlled platform and involves 4 distinct waveforms to manipulate muscles in twisting, holding, gripping, and tapping movements that simulate an actual multi-dimensional workout.
  • What should I expect during treatment?
Each Accufit session is a 4-cycle program that stretches, builds, re-educates, and recovers muscles. When the treatment begins, you'll notice a gentle contraction of your muscles. As the treatment progresses, these contractions become more pronounced. After each phase, there's a calming “warm down” period to help your body relax, release lactic acid build up, and prepare for the next round. Patients have the option of a 30 or 45 minute treatment. Every session is tailored to help patients attain their individual goals. The treatment is safe and pain free.
  • Is it safe? How does it work?
The Accufit system uses a proprietary muscle activation process to target specific muscle groups. During a direct activation sequence, energy is channeled through the chosen muscle, prompting a variety of responses which mimic the actual movements of that muscle. This activation enables patients to experience a broader range and extended duration of muscle movement than would typically be possible during regular exercise.

Dr. Martin only injects fillers which are dissolvable and are metabolized by your body over time.
  • Which parts of the face are the most common areas to receive filler?

  • How long does Botox last?
The duration of Botox varies from person to person depending on their metabolism and activity level. Most patients can expect a strong and lasting result for three to four months while some patients also see results for six months or longer.
  • How long does filler last?
The duration of filler varies by filler type however most fillers maintain the results you want for 12-24 months.
  • How often do I receive the treatments?
Our standard treatment is one session every four weeks for a total of six treatments. You may also use the KeraFactor Shampoo at home each day between treatments. • What results should I expect from KeraLase?
While everyone is different, improvement in scalp health and an increase in the appearance of thicker, healthier hair may be visible usually in 3 months when patients follow the treatment protocol as prescribed. Most patients see even more improvement over the next 2-4 months.
  • Who is a good candidate for KeraLase treatments?
Concerns over hair loss have increased in recent years due to frequent use of “selfies” and social media apps. Men and women of all ages who are experiencing thinning or baldness anywhere on their scalp are good candidates for KeraLase treatment as well as hair loss related to hormonal fluctuations caused by aging, pregnancy or menopause. (KeraLase is not recommended for patients who are pregnant or nursing).
  • How does KeraFactor differ from using PRP?
PRP, or Platelet-Rich Plasma, is a painful, 45-minute procedure where blood is drawn from the patient, spun in a centrifuge to increase the patient’s platelets, then applied or injected into the scalp, often with inconsistent results. Only the growth factors available in the patient’s own blood will be released. If a patient is highly deficient in any of the growth factors needed for hair health, the PRP procedure may not be effective. Additionally, one of the common growth factors found in blood may block the transition of hair follicles into the new growth phase, actually inhibiting growth. In contrast, KeraFactor products include a proprietary formula with high concentrations of bio-identical growth factors and skin proteins customized for people with thinning hair.
  • Will it look natural? What about hair transplant patients?
The KeraFactor formula provides nutrients to the hair follicles and improved scalp circulation for natural-looking, healthy hair. Transplanted hair follicles will benefit from absorption of growth factors and skin proteins in the same manner as existing hair follicles. Natural hair loss is a very common condition. And now, hair restoration treatments are reliable, painless, and accessible. Please schedule a consultation today!
  • How Does Keralase Hair Restoration Work?
KeraLase is the perfect non-surgical treatment for those suffering from unwanted hair loss, looking to improve their hair volume, or wanting to restore their hairline. The treatment is quick, painless, and accomplished in 20 minutes or less. Your skin is naturally designed to keep things out. The LaseMD Ultra is methodically applied to the targeted zone to destroy damaged cells and promote your body’s healing process. This makes the skin more receptive to the KeraFactor serum which is applied immediately following the laser treatment. The unique LaseMD Ultra laser delivery system has been proven to prepare the skin for increased absorption of nanoliposomes.
  • What Should Be Avoided Before and After Laser Treatment?
Sun exposure to the treated area should be avoided. The laser treated area should not be exposed directly to the sun during your entire treatment session. A suntan will increase the pigment content of your skin and thereby decrease the effectiveness of the treatment. A sunscreen of SPF 30 or higher is recommended and should be applied whenever the treated area is exposed to sunlight.
  • Who Is A Good Candidate For Laser Hair Removal?
Laser hair removal is a highly effective treatment for achieving permanent hair reduction. The success of the treatment can depend on various factors, including the color and texture of the hair as well as the patient’s skin type. In general, laser hair removal targets the pigment in hair follicles to prevent further growth. Patients with lighter skin and darker, coarser hair tend to respond the most quickly to the treatment. Fortunately, our Clarity II laser from Lutronic has proven to be effective across most skin and hair types, including those with darker skin tones. For patients with lighter hair colors, it may take more treatments to achieve the desired outcome, as there is less pigment in the hair for the laser to target. In all cases, laser settings are adjusted to protect the skin’s surface and deliver the correct and appropriate amount of energy. Please read our pre-op instructions here for more information about what to do leading up to your laser hair removal appointment.
  • How Long Does The Treatment Take?
The Clarity II laser is designed with breakthrough intelligent capabilities which enable treatment up to twice as fast as other leading devices. Most appointments are very fast and take less than 10 minutes with consistent treatment coverage in large areas.
  • How Will I Prepare For A Laser Hair Removal Treatment?
Please take a look at our pre and post care instructions to ensure your best results!
  • Is Laser Hair Removal Painful?
The Clarity II laser hair removal system has a powerful cryogen cooling system which cools the skin instantaneously as the energy is delivered. This provides for a comfortable treatment which is easily tolerated by any patient. No topical numbing is required, minimizing appointment time and completing your treatment safely, comfortably, and efficiently!
  • Are there any side effects with laser hair removal?
Side effects are usually mild. The most common side effects are discomfort, swelling or redness, all of which should subside within 24 to 48 hours. Other side effects, such as blisters, are extremely rare when the proper pre-treatment instructions have been followed. There is virtually no downtime and you should be able to return to normal activities and wear makeup right away.
  • How Many Treatments Will I Need?
While results vary from patient to patient, you will likely see results immediately following your first treatment. To fully remove the hair, most patients need 2 to 6 laser treatments which will be spaced 4-6 weeks apart to allow for the hair growth cycle to restart. Following your treatment, most patients do not see any hair on the treated skin for several months or even years. When the hair regrows, there tends to be less of it. The hairs also tend to be finer and lighter in color.
